System running fine. Condensation on 1 unit was a stopped up primary. Issue resolved.
Upstairs as a leaking evaporator coil
Installed 4 ton condenser system held 500 microns. Checked system operation system.cooling at this time.
Found leak in condenser coil
Leak checked evaporator coil, condenser coil and checked line set under home. Need to recover 410a and isolate system pressurize system with nitrogen to find where leak is.
Returned and replaced restricted evaporator coil. Gas line had to be removed and copper lines pulled down beneath trailer to get coil out. Installed new evaporator coil. Brazed lines and ran pressure test. Small leak at piston connection. Tighten connection and performed leak search. System sealed properly. Ran vacuum. Ran system and charged it to 9°subcool. Reinstalled gas line. System running normal at this time.
Customer complaint system not cooling. Added refrigerant to this system around 2 months ago. Ran system and checked pressures. Hi side pressures are around normal but low side pressures are low. Subcool is at 3° superheat at 52°. Air flow is good. Based on these readings the system appears to be restricted. Performed leak search on condenser and evaporator. Still cannot find leak. Performed frostback check. Found 2 paths refrigerant is not flowing through. Evaporator is restricted and needs to be replaced. Customer is going to purchase his own evaporator.
